Summer is around the corner – yay! And with that comes a whole new wardrobe dilemma. Yes, I mean a complete wardrobe overhaul. However you can overhaul your wardrobe to get that summer vibes look with a few basics – i.e. trainers that go with everything, dresses that you can wear a sweater over for chilly nights and also bags that double as travel luggage that you can take on your next beach holiday. All it takes are a few simple tweaks to your current collection.
First up – trainers. I am obsessed by all things trainers at the moment and I love that trainers are now back in style and you can pair them with anything to get that cool summer vibes look. My trainers of choice at the moment are these Lacoste Tamora trainers. I’ve got the ones in grey but you can also get these in rose gold which is a cool colour that is still having its moment. These trainers are great – the grey colour goes with everything!
The detailing on the shoes is simple and classic – just like Lacoste. I love these paired with jeans or a little dress.
In regards to dresses I love this classic one by Forever 21 – it goes with everything and you can put a long black loose kimono over it as well for chilly nights.
What about the perfect beach bag for the summer? I love this L’UNI MATCHA bag from Playa Playa – this bag is perfect for stuffing just about anything you want into it and also great for travelling. The purpose of the bag is to take it to the beach but still be fashionable at the same time. It’s perfect also for a carry-on bag for travelling. I like the green colour too! The bag zips up and has two braided handles – it’s convenient and easy to carry.
For summer vibes you also need the perfect sunglasses. I love these Ray Ban sunglasses – I’ve had them for about five years and use them every single day. They are foldable classic Wayfarers – they are brilliant, pack well in the bag and are in a classic style that never goes out of fashion. Highly recommended!
