Artisan Skincare Brand 3107 London Launches!

I love skincare and sometimes in all the madness and scientific facts out there I forget about the joy of skincare and how it makes me feel. I like using nice products that make me feel good and also have good results. With the launch of new artisan skincare brand 3107 London, I feel like I’ve been reminded of the joys of using botanicals and natural oils that smell amazing and make your skin feel great! For true beauty aficionados, you will know exactly what I mean.

I also love a brand with a good story. 3107 London was created by facialist and fellow beauty blogger Dija Ayodele. Dija hand blends these products in her studio using pure botanicals and aromatic essential oils. Dija describes these products as ‘aha’ products which I totally get.

We all have our ‘aha’ moments – which usually happen after a long day and at the exact moment we get home, change into something comfortable, sit down and have a glass of wine (well, that’s my ‘aha’ moment for sure!) Because of the beautiful ingredients in each of these products they are truly ‘aha’ products – to be used perhaps in the evening – after a long day. Each of the products have aromatherapy benefits and are truly soothing to the skin and soul.

The product range for 3107 London consists of two hero products. The first one is My Everything Soothing Face Elixir. This product smells AMAZING and I have been putting it on in the evening as a de-stresser for my soul and for my skin. The oil feels really luxurious as well and is great for giving yourself a DIY facial – I used it with my Sarah Chapman Facialift Roller and it felt fabulous. The elixir contains French Lavender and Roman Chamomile to soothe the skin which is great especially at this time of the year, when your skin has survived the long winter months!

The second hero product is the Heart & Soul Deep Cleansing Make-Up Remover. Now I have actually been using this not only as a make-up remover but also as an intensive mask. I use this in the mornings for the extra boost of moisture that it leaves. I also don’t like to really ‘strip’ my skin in the morning – I like to treat it and this is a real treat because it smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth without that dry, stripped feeling.

It also doesn’t hurt that this product’s name reminds me of the 1980s song ‘Heart & Soul’ song by T’Pau which trust me, I used to play on repeat…in the 90s. Amazing song, check. Amazing product, double check.

As you can see in the image below, the balm is solid but literally melts when it comes in contact with the heat of your skin. It contains lemongrass and geranium which are uplifting – i.e. great for mornings. Who needs coffee anyways?
