I recently attended the launch of Taylor Morris Eyewear at Harvey Nichols. The brand, created by Made in Chelsea’s Hugo Taylor and his lifelong friend Charlie Morris, features six individual styled frames. The sunglasses are lifestyle-oriented, meaning they will go from beach to bar to restaurant to car, something anyone can appreciate.
The trademark of the sunglasses are the three gold circles on the arm, in rose, white and yellow gold. This is the universal symbol of faithfulness which Taylor and Morris state is at the heart of everything they do.
Taylor Morris Eyewear combines British sartorial elegance and timeless Hollywood glamour, drawing inspiration from cultural and fashion icons such as James Dean, Audrey Hepburn, J.F. Kennedy, Monroe and Steve Mcqueen.
The event was attended by Hugo Taylor, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Rosie Fortescue, among others. Cocktails and canapes were served and I was able to chat with Hugo Taylor, who recommended that I try the Chelsea Catseye glasses. I am tempted:)
