Elizabeth Arden Launches Sunkissed Pearls Colour Collection (Nationwide from 1st March)

I love it when SS15 cosmetic launches start appearing because it means that spring is certainly around the corner! With spring on the horizon it also means we can shed the nuetrals, greys and monochrome – both in our wardrobe and on our faces as well. While those colours work well in the winter, they don’t translate as well in the summer sun, where we can start to get a bit more playful with our make-up.

Elizabeth Arden’s latest launch for SS15 – the Sunkissed Pearls collection – certainly does not disappoint. It is bright and cheerful, inspired by the lustrous colour of pearls and by the tones of the sea. Take a look at this and start making plans for your next summer holiday in the sun!

The collection is a limited edition one and contains:

Sunkissed Pearls Bronzer & Highlighter, RRP £28
Sunkissed Pearls Cream Eye Shadow Stylo, RRP £19
Sunkissed Pearls Gel Liner, RRP £17
Sunkissed Pearls Lip Gloss Trio, RRP £28

I have the Lip Gloss Trio and Eye Shadow Stylo in Blue Pearl (below) and these products have made me really excited for warmer weather with their lovely beachy tones.

The Eye Shadow Stylo pens come in three colours; blue, bronze or opalescent pink. I have the blue eye shadow pen which I think is really more of a sea green with a touch of blue. The pen makes it really easy and effortless to apply shadow all over the lid or to just use it as a liner around the eyes to give a pop of colour. The colour has a bit of shimmer in it as well so it’s a lovely touch for the spring.

I also love LOVE the Lip Gloss Trio. There is a pink, coral, and berry shade in the trio, inspired by a summer sunset. The colours are bright and highly pigmented so they can certainly replace a lipstick. The colours look fresh and bright as you can see in my swatched hand below!

The glosses also smell and taste amazing so that’s another win. They are infused with mango and shea butter to hydrate and condition as well as Maxi-Lip to make the lips plumper. When I wore the lip glosses, especially the coral one, I felt my whole face looked brighter and more youthful as a result. I also thought the texture was thick and long-wearing. The berry shade is great to wear right now as we are in-between seasons but if you are wanting to add some colour in your life, these shades are gorgeous!
