Caudalie. I actually love to say the name of this brand because it is so pretty. And not only the name is pretty but the products are pretty too and they are pretty good as well! I first fell in love with Caudalie because of their Beauty Elixir which I now keep on my desk at all times as a lovely pick-me-up throughout the day (as it is a hydrating mist).
Caudalie is a brand that uses the power of plants in its products, specifically polyphenols – in other words, pretty kick butt antioxidants that will combat free radicals from the environment that attack the skin everyday.
Caudalie has now added on to their Vinoperfect line with a Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20. I was lucky enough to attend the launch event to hear about how the products work and test them out myself.
If you don’t know about the Vinoperfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum, it was created in 2005 as a solution to dark spots. We hear about products nowadays all the time whose main goal is to combat hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is one of the most ageing things of all, sometimes it can make people look older than wrinkles can!
So what are dark spots caused by? A number of factors including sun exposure, aging, acne scars or pregnancy. And they are tricky little things to get rid of. Luckily, Caudalie has done the research and clinical trials to prove that their Radiance Serum really does combat dark spots.
The exciting news is that Caudalie have now launched a Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 to go along with the current Vinoperfect range. This is a hard-working base that works on correcting dark spots while covering them up. It has no oil so won’t clog your pores or give you spots either! I love that the formula contains hyluronic acid and Viniferine (a natural active ingredient that is much more effective than kojic acid or vitamin C). So it’s working to correct spots and prevent new ones from occurring – nice to know that your make-up is working just as hard as you do during the day!
The Radiance Tinted Moisturizer comes in two shades, Light and Medium so it’s pretty easy to choose! The Tinted Moisturizer is very light and sheer so it’s great for very light coverage or for weekends when you don’t want to wear much make-up. It also smells amazing too!
