I’ve recently discovered two really cool brands that both make the cut for ‘too cool for school’. One of them is Religion Clothing, who have their own online site and also stocked at ASOS. I love this long, sheer shift dress – although I have to say I wasn’t brave enough to wear it with a pair of black underwear and black bra (like Miley Cyrus or Rihanna would surely do with this dress).
However, I found a way to make it really wearable for a sexy day out. To keep the cool, sheer look of this I would recommend pairing this with a simple black bra and wearing with some leather-look leggings. This ensures that you are still showing a bit of skin but keeping things covered up at the same time if you know what I mean!
I got the leggings from New Look and have also paired the look with metallic slides from Boohoo. I really love that the metallic slides play off the metallic look on the front of the dress.
For accessories let me introduce you to ‘too cool for school’ brand number two – Maniere de Voir. I’ve got some super cool sunglasses from the brand that go perfectly with this dress. They are on trend and have a crocodile skin look on the frames. The shape and look of them almost yells ‘futuristic’. The brand have some really cool stuff on their site!
