I struggle sometimes with what to wear to work. I want to balance trendy with professional – which is sometimes a fine line to walk! So with the fall season well under way I’ve found something that works in both the trend and professional camp – the long waistcoat or gillet. 
I found this one that I am wearing from Red Herring in Debenhams. Red Herring has really upped it’s game lately and I’ve found a new love in both the black long waistcoat (pictured) as well as the berry coloured turtle-neck as well.
Both the turtle-neck and the waistcoat are great for keeping it professional during the day. I’ve paired mine with leather-look leggings from New Look as well as a new chunky-heeled boots from Pull & Bear – my new favourite store!
In regards to the details, the look is best paired with a simple necklace (from H&M) and nice rose gold watch (mine is Michael Kors).
And nothing is complete without shoes! I LOVE my new boots from Pull & Bear which are both comfortable and perfect for this season.
