Everyone needs a bit of luxury at Christmas. After a long hard year, it’s nice to sit back, relax and let someone else indulge you for once! Okay, yes it’s about giving and receiving and we all know how lovely it is to receive a luxurious gift. By luxury I don’t necessarily mean expensive – when I think of luxury I think of self-care. How many of us get a moment to ourselves in this busy life to really take time to self-care? I know I don’t. I’m often the last person who gets my own attention and at times it wears me down. Self-care and taking time out is so important so for Christmas why not give the gift of self-care?
And how do you do that? Well, follow me and find out!
This is just wow. A truly luxurious gift indeed. This is scented with Hawaiian Gardenia and Jasmine. It’s truly a beautiful scent. This gift screams luxury and also is perfect for someone who needs a bit of self care. The set comes with a Fragrance Diffuser 100ml, full-sized luxury Candle and Kukui Oil Soap. I love the fact that this gift is centred around Hawaiian scents as well because it allows you to drift off to somewhere tropical, even in the dead of winter!
Zoeva Bamboo Set Volume 2 £56.95
Zoeva brushes make the everyday ritual of putting on your make-up special. The brushes are incredibly soft and luxurious and they feel like a whisper on your face. The Zoeva brushes transform this everyday ritual into a luxurious experience and make it a joy to put on make-up. Also the brushes are vegan, designed simply and are made with renewable materials. So this is a gift that is sustainable – the bristles are vegan taklon hair, bamboo wooden handles and golden coloured aluminium ferrules refining the eco luxe design.

Zoeva Rodeo Belle Palette £15.95
This palette is inspired by the old west and the women who won it. I LOVE this palette and think it makes a great gift for a woman because it is all about celebrating women! Shades like gunmetal, cactus green, brown and dusted rose keep it fun and light-hearted but also add a little bit of joy to your day. Put this in the stocking of someone you really, really like!
OMG this is the motherload of luxury! This is a gift that I would love to give and receive. This is a truly luxurious gift that is all about self-care, from the Thai Wooden Massager to the French Lavender Massage Oil to the Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath. Self-care starts with taking care of your health and I can think of nothing better than a massage – good for both mind and body. The Thai Wooden Massager in this gift set is amazing and works in conjunction with all the other products in the box. If you haven’t heard of the Spa of the World collection, you really must check it out. It is, in my opinion, The Body Shop’s most luxurious range ever and one that really puts them on another level.
I also think the price for this is incredibly reasonable for what you get in return – a few month’s worth of indulgent self-care! The gift contains:
Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath 250g
African Ximenia Scrub 350ml
Japanese Camellia Cream 350ml
French Lavender Massage Oil 170ml
Thai Wooden Massager
Reiss London II Bath Collection (available from Boots) £20.00
Guess what? Reiss (the clothing brand) now does beauty too! And their packaging is killer – just like their style. Minimalist, this looks very ‘Chanel-esque’ and very luxurious considering the price. These are meant to sit on your vanity table and again, make self-care a priority. It’s nice to own and to give nice things every once in awhile and these will look amazing on your #shelfie.
The gift contains Indulgent Bath Oil, Polishing Scrub and Body Glow. The Indulgent Bath Oil is really lovely and contains Rosehip oil to make skin glow. The Polishing Scrub is great for winter and those suffering from dry skin and the Body Glow is a body lotion with a light shimmer. Using all three together will give the best results and will make someone’s bath time very happy!

Glamoriser Hair Straightener (available at Boots) now £44.99, was £89.99
This hair straightener is very very good – I straightened my hair in five minutes with this and of course it depends on how much hair you have but this does the trick and is very speedy! Great hair makes a woman feel good and having a good hair day can change your entire look. I know because it’s how I feel when I leave the hairdressers after a good blow dry. The Glamoriser is great though and it’s a perfect gift to give someone who doesn’t have much time.
It heats up quickly and has even heat technology for consistent heat during styling. The plates infused with Black Diamond Oil so hair is straighter, shinier and smoother with a single stroke. What are you waiting for?

Claudia Freakishly Good Hair Set (available from M&S) was £10.00, now £5.00
I love the packaging and design of this new collaboration between M&S and Claudia Winkleman and it is super affordable too! Like I said before, having a great head of hair can really make you feel good about yourself and using a good conditioner is key in all of this. The wide-tooth comb that comes with this set is also amazing for not pulling or tugging at hair and is especially great for fine hair. Cool thing to keep in the handbag!
Claudia The Joystick now £3.75, was £7.50
This duo is a must-have for that glamorous smoky-eye look for Christmas parties. And it comes with a smudger which is really easy to use and great for blending.
