April is now over but that doesn’t mean that we can’t keep celebrating Earth Month! Natural beauty gets better and better all the time and some brands (that I use all the time) I don’t even think about them being natural because it’s so ‘natural’ for me to use them!
Lookfantastic invited me to their lovely April #LFBlooms event to celebrate feel good beauty with some of their best natural beauty brands on board and to embrace the theme of April’s Lookfantastic Beauty Box. At the event I was able to build my own box of amazing natural beauty products from some of my favourite natural brands. The station allowed me to create my very own personalised #LFBeautyBox – who wouldn’t want that?
Want to take a peek inside?
I picked six of my favourite natural products in order to build my own box. The first brand I picked was Jason. Now, I have pretty much grown up with Jason being from the States and the fact that Jason is widely stocked in every Trader Joe’s store. Trader Joe’s is a natural food store that everyone went to because they had nice food and lifestyle products at reasonable prices. I used to use Jason shampoo and conditioner and even went through a phase where I didn’t want to use any beauty products that weren’t natural. So hence when I saw Jason I got a little bit excited. I love the Apricot Scrubble because it is a foaming scrub. So it is really effective at removing dirt/make-up and exfoliating at the same time. I’ve been using mine for the past two weeks and it leaves my skin really soft!
Next up is Burt’s Bees. I LOVE Burt’s Bees and have so many of their products. I have been using this brand for awhile and I love their lip products and also their Intense Hydration Mask (not shown). So I had to pick up these three little mini Burt’s Bees Lip Shine glosses. These are a perfect size to put in your bag and I like to leave one by my desk at work for a lip pick-me-up throughout the day. You can also feel good knowing that what is on your lips is natural!
Next up I chose the Mio Liquid Yoga Stress Free Space Spray. Because I live in London and London is a big, busy city, there is inevitable stress in that. Therefore I have found that when things start to feel a little bit overwhelming that this spray is really calming. I like to use it before bed to get in a nice calm zone so I can go straight to dreamland!
Next we come to Phyto and with Phyto, what’s not to love? Phyto really rocks as one of my favourite hair brands out there! This brand is amazing for fine hair like mine and it doesn’t weigh it down with its products. This Subtil Elixir is a superpower, pre-shampoo oil treatment that will restore really dry and damaged hair. Honestly, save it for post-beach holiday when your hair feels fried. You’ll thank me later.
I also love Viviscal for my hair because it’s fine and Viviscal is all about promoting hair growth and densyfying fine hair. Right down my alley. Therefore I was thrilled to see this product in the box. This is like a serum that you put on towel-dried hair and it’s really great because it’s not greasy and doesn’t weigh the hair down. At the same time it promotes hair growth and works to reduce hair fall.
Last but certainly not least is the Jurlique Nutri-Define Rejuvenating Overnight Cream. I hadn’t previously tried any of Jurlique’s skincare range so this was a great intro to the brand. It’s a travel-sized mini so perfect to tuck into your handbag for any last-minute travel! This is exactly what it says on the tin – an antiageing, rejuvenating night cream. It’s rich and lovely and smells amazing too!
