I’ve recently discovered so many things on the site that I’ve been looking for in regards to both winter skincare and new make-up that I’ve managed to find. A Winter Skincare + Make-Up Haul
Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser
I’ve been a fan of Jan Marini since I had a facial and was recommended the products by a dermatologist months ago. She had given me a mini sample of the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser and I loved it so much I used it to the last drop. My skin reacts really well to glycolic acid and it really helps to clear it up and brighten my skin.
I was so excited to be able to find it again on Feelunique because I had been looking for a replacement for a long time! It’s really gentle but does tingle a bit so you know it’s working. Again, it’s got glycolic acid which is a cleansing aid and resurfacing agent so if you have dull, clogged skin this is a great cleanser to use. Remember, a good skincare routine always starts with the cleanse!
It’s Skin Sheet Masks – Aloe, Tea Tree, Rose
I love Korean skincare and no, not just because it’s trendy. I’ve been a long-time fan of Korean beauty having visited South Korean on five separate occasions over the last 10 years. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in the country and have been using K-Beauty for some time now. When I first started using sheet masks they hadn’t even hit the UK yet and it was a few years later that they did. It’s Skin however I hadn’t tried until I first discovered it on Feelunique’s Unique Boutique. It’s Skin is Korea’s first cosmeceutical brand with a reasonable price. Koreans love natural beauty as well and It’s Skin is all about combining science with natural ingredients.
I love applying a sheet mask on the weekend when I have a bit more time to treat myself. You can’t go wrong with Aloe for soothing and hydrating the skin, Tea Tree for calming and treating acne-prone skin and Rose for hydration. I like using a sheet mask just before bed so that my skin can have time to really process all the goodness from the masks while it’s resting and repairing in my sleep.
Benefit Brows – Soft and Natural Brows Kit
When I start running low on Benefit brow products I start to panic! So when I discovered this set on FeelUnique I was super impressed as I hadn’t seen it elsewhere. The set is really good value with a Goof Proof Brow Pencil (the best!), Ready, Set, BROW! And High Brow Pencil. I always use the Goof Proof Brow Pencil every day just as I find this product is the easiest for me to use to define my brows. It also has a brow brush on one end so you can brush through the product for more natural brow.
Once you have your brow defined you can use the Ready, Set, BROW! to set your brows into place. This is a clear gel formula that just makes sure your brows are perfectly placed all day long. And last but not least for a mini eye lift you can apply the High Brow Pencil just under the arch of the brow and blend in for a more defined arch. This instantly gives a lift to the whole face. And as an added bonus the kit comes with special eyebrow stencils so you can create a personalised brow shape. A fabulous kit for a fabulous price!
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid
I actually had no idea that Feelunique stocked so many amazing luxe fragrances from Chanel to Tom Ford. I love Tom Ford so had to have a restock of the Velvet Orchid. I usually reorder online my tried-and-true fragrance favourites simply as I already know what they smell like. I love Tom Ford fragrances and this one is no different – it’s gourmand fragrance that’s sexy and perfect for the darker days of winter. I discovered this one as well through Unique Boutique as there are so many editorial features on fragrance. You can see the latest one HERE.
The key scents you can really pick out in this fragrance are vanilla, tuberose and jasmine. It’s heady and rich and perfect for nights out on the town or if you want a sexy little boost for every day. Wearing Tom Ford fragrances feels like a bit of luxury as well and it’s a little treat that only you know you are wearing.
L’Oreal x Balmain Lipsticks – Domination and Fever
I had literally only thought that I could get these lipsticks at Harvey Nichols so thought I would have to make a separate trip just to go there and get my hands on them until I discovered they were actually sold on Feelunique.
I mean honestly there are so many luxe ranges to choose from on Feelunique and this incredible collaboration between L’Oreal Paris and Balmain is just one of them. I had been waiting for these lipsticks to come out for so long so I waiting in anticipation for them to arrive and trust me when I say that they did not disappoint. The packaging is super luxe and the lipsticks themselves I was very impressed with – long-lasting, moisturising and fabulous pigment.
I actually had never quite seen such a unique colour as Fever which is a burnt copper colour. It looks absolutely beautiful and when I wear it I get so many compliments. There are 12 shades in the collection and this is one definitely NOT TO MISS!
Embryolisse Lait’ Crème Concentre
What I like about Feelunique is that there are so many choices of everything. One product that I was recommended when browsing through the Unique Boutique section (a curated section of the Feelunique website with much-loved products in the industry) was the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré which had been on my wishlist for nearly a year.
This French cult-beauty brand made all the beauty editor’s must-have skincare edits and it’s not expensive at all making it ever more desirable. What I like about this product is that you can use it for so many things – as a mask, a moisturiser and even as a make-up remover. The consistency is medium – somewhere between light and rich but the product sinks into skin really easily and it does make it really velvety soft.
Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Again so many products that had been on my wish list I managed to find easily on Feelunique. I previously was given a mini Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream in a sample size at an event and was since on the lookout to where I could get my hands on a full-size. I LOVE this cream because it’s so rich and nourishing – it feels like a mask on the skin but one that sinks in and it’s so perfect for the winter months.
If you haven’t tried this before I would HIGHLY recommend it and especially if you like natural brands. This product uses the power of the rose to nourish and hydrate and the cream is so super rich and luxe it’s a real treat to apply to the skin.
