I love a high ponytail – they’re playful, fun and youthful and they instantly lift your face and draw the attention upwards. If you want an instant facelift, try a high ponytail! To hold mine up I love Invisibobble (traceless hair ring) because they don’t tangle your hair, are gentle and they don’t leave horrible kinks in your hair. They are amazing – I must have about ten of them and I take them everywhere (you can find them at Boots)!
Here I am rocking my high ponytail look with a top from Superdry – I try and keep it pretty effortless with a high ponytail, just tucking in a bit of the shirt at the front, rolling up the sleeves and unbuttoning the top few buttons. I love the bright red of this particular shirt and it is also so soft and comfortable – I wear it all the time and it’s new for this season as well at Superdry.
I’ve kept the whole look light and playful with a backpack I picked up in South Korea along with black skinny jeans I also picked up in South Korea. One can never have too many pairs of black skinny jeans, right?
The last piece of the puzzle is my Ted & Muffy boots. These were personally made to fit my calf (I actually have exceptionally large muscular calf muscles) and they are the most beautiful over-the-knee boots ever! If you want over-the-knee boots that fit perfectly please check them out! These are suede and are really comfortable for a high-heeled boot – the reason being that they were made-to-measure.
