I have to say that I was very excited to receive February’s Glossybox this month because February was all about romance. Butterflies in the stomach, candy hearts and roses…how can you go wrong?
The February box was about all things ‘love’ as well as a nod to the movie 50 Shades of Grey. The box contained a lot of lovely surprises, including a grey coloured mineral eye shadow from cult US brand Marsk. The eyeshadow is 100% natural and is very pigment rich so colour is concentrated. A little goes a long way with this one!
The box also contained a bottle of Essie ‘Repstyle’ Nail Polish in ‘Snake it Up’ which is a gorgeous grey-blue metallic in a snakeskin texture. I love Essie so was really excited to see this in the box.
A brand that I had never come across but absolutely love now is Royal Apothic (from L.A.). Their Tinties lip balm is absolutely gorgeous – it has a creamy texture and leaves your lips with a lovely rose coloured tint. This brand was inspired by an old apothecary manual and is now a celeb favourite (with Victoria Beckham rumoured to be a fan). The packaging is also gorgeous on this and will look amazing in any handbag.
Along with a Wilkinson Sword razor (a very practical product indeed) and a So Susan Rose Quartet Lip & Cheek Palette, this was one of the best boxes I have seen from Glossybox!
