Recently I have gone shopping mad. I think it’s the spring weather and I’ve officially caught the ‘I don’t have anything to wear’ fever. Of course it’s not true but sometimes it really feels that way! This weekend I hit up Debenhams for a mini-shopping spree after attending their SS15 Beauty Event where I was inspired by all things spring and travel.
So what did I pick up? Well, let’s start with outerwear. I know the weather is getting warmer but it’s not quite there yet so I picked up this gorgeous H! by Henry Holland parka. It has a removable fur hood lining which I took off for the time being as it is no longer the season for fur. Without it however, it turns into a lovely spring parka. It’s lightweight and airy but will still protect against chilly winds.
Next up is shoes. I already have these John Rocha Leather Slingbacks in black and absolutely love them so decided to get them in beige. Spring calls for lighter colours and these will go well with summer dresses.
I have three Michael Kors bags now and love my simple brown saffiano leather one pictured below. It has an interior pocket that zips up so nothing will fall out and no one will reach their hand in your bag to grab anything. So it keeps valuables safe – always a win in a big city.
I also love my Michael Kors Rose Gold watch because it goes with everything!
Last but not least you need a good pair of sunnies – mine are foldable Ray-Ban Wayfarers from Sunglasses Hut. Anything that folds up and travels well is a winner with me and I take these with me everywhere. My necklace is from Wolf & Moon.
Fashion goes hand in hand with beauty so to get ready for spring, I’ve picked my favourite beauty items from Debenhams for the season.
I will always and forever be a fan of Nails Inc and this colour in ‘Uptown’ doesn’t disappoint. It’s a pale, dusty rose and it ticks the classy, elegant and sophisticated boxes all at once.
Make Up For Ever is also at Debenhams – this is a professional make-up brand from Paris. I love the Pro Fusion Bronzer below as well as the bright pink, high shine lip gloss below.
I’ve tried Ole Henriksen before and love the Pure Truth range – the Melting Cleanser and Collagen Booster Serum are fantastic.
Last but not least I love my handbag-sized Harajuku Lovers Eau de Parfum in Music. It’s a 15ml size so perfect for the handbag and the fact that it’s an Eau de Parfum means that it is going to last on your skin!
