Spring Break Essentials

Spring break – we all need one. But whether you going to the beach or staying at home here are some essentials that you just might need to get ready!

No matter where you’re going, if you want to create beach waves try label.m Texturising Volume Spray. It has the texturizing benefits of dry shampoo with the hold of hairspray. It’s great for fine hair that needs a boost like mine. If you don’t know about label.m, it has been the London Fashion Week designers’ product of choice for the last 21 seasons. As it’s been used backstage at London Fashion Week you can trust that the products are of a great quality!

If you’re going on holiday of course you will want to have some colour. Makebelieve is a small family-run, British company that makes a range of tanning products.

One great product that they have that I have not seen elsewhere is the Spa & Polish Exfoliator. This is an exfoliating scrub to use in the shower, which you will want to use before applying any tanning products. I haven’t seen many other tanning brands that have an exfoliating scrub within their tanning range so this makes Makebelieve a little bit different from the rest.

Another product that Makebelieve have is a Self-Tan Mist with Bronzer. This makes it really easy to apply self tanner as the product comes out in a very fine mist. It’s very moisturizing and contains an exotic fragrance, masking the usual unpleasant self-tanning smell.

Makebelieve also has a range of tan-enhancing make-up called Enhance.

One of the products is a Sunbeam Bronzer for the face, which of course will complement any tan (you can see I’ve used it for contouring in the picture of me at the top of the post!). So if you’re using self tan for the body make sure your face matches your tan by using the bronzer!

The Enhance range also comes with a highlighter so your face will glow on your spring break holiday and a shimmering lip gloss which is great to pack in your bags.

If you’re going on holiday and you don’t want the fuss of carrying a load of make-up Burt’s Bees have just launched their new lip crayons which are simply amazing. I cannot complement them highly enough. They are extremely highly pigmented colours and there are eight crayons in the range.

I have the lip crayon in Napa Vineyard which is a deep red burgundy colour that is absolutely gorgeous. I think it competes with high fashion brands such as MAC and NARS for its pigment and colour.

The other colour I have is Carolina Coast, which is a light pink that’s very natural and soft-looking. The lip crayons are 100% natural – how good is that?!
