Zoeva is a German brand that is much loved by bloggers everywhere. In fact, that’s where I first heard of Zoeva – through the blogosphere. Zoeva is however, available to buy in the UK at selected stockists, due to popular demand.
Zoeva is best known for make-up brushes which are durable, high-performance and look amazing. However, I just recently discovered that Zoeva also does make-up palettes and lipsticks – much to my delight!
I’ve got the Zoeva ‘Love Is A Story’ eye shadow palette which comes with 10 shadows. The palette is actually inspired by the make-up of the early 60s and movie stars from that era. The colours are (from the top left): star affair, past romance, man with a plan, ladylike, over you, little kiss, old-fashioned, flirt, and mystery date.
The shadows are absolutely gorgeous and can be used either for every day or for a night out. They are easy to build up coverage with as well, depending on how dramatic you want your look to be. ‘Mystery Date’ would be great for creating a smoky eye, ‘Ladylike’ is more trend-based and ‘Over You’, ‘Little Kiss’ and ‘Man with the Plan’ are great for an everyday look.
Zoeva also specializes in organisers such as brush holders. I have the Zoeva brush holder which is a perfect size for holding all of my make-up brushes. The brush holder is also clear so I can easily find the brushes that I’m looking for. Great for when I’m in a rush!
Another thing that I discovered about so Eva is that they make gorgeous lipsticks. Who knew?
This one that I’ve swatched below is a luscious berry red. It’s creamy and decadent, just like the colour.
