Ooh la la. Vive la France! This month’s Glossybox is something to truly celebrate because it’s all things French! Now we all know the French are pretty good at skincare – with all those pharmacy beauty buys it’s hard not to get tempted. But France is across the Channel so sometimes it’s hard to source these kinds of things. The great thing about this month’s Glossybox is that it brings the French pharmacy to you. In a box. Merveilleux!
So what’s in the box? Well, for £10 you get a great value for your money first off. I have discovered within this box two brands that I haven’t tried yet (Teoxane and noxidoxi) – and for all those out there with a voracious appetite for beauty, you know what it means when you discover and get to try out a new product you have not yet tried!
I am a huge fan of Vichy so was very happy to see it included in the box, as it is an old classic. I have used the Aqualia Thermal Serum previously but have not used the day cream so this is new for me. Always a win.
I also love a beauty box that has a bit of something extra. This gorgeous travel bag is so cute – I will definitely use this for my summer holidays!
The box contains a full-size noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base – the brand is from Bordeaux and contains a CRC6 moisturising complex which targets the deeper layer of skin (everything you want in a serum, right?). In addition, there is a full-size Teoxane Cosmeceuticals Perfect Skin Refiner with glycolic acid, the magic exfoliator. Use it every other night and wait and see…your skin might tingle at first due to the glycolic acid but that also means one thing: it’s working!
Last but not least is a Lollipops Lip Balm. My lips get so dry in the summer and I found this one in particular very hydrating!
