Becca Cosmetics: The Brand You Need to Know

Wow! That’s all I have to say about Becca Cosmetics. These are some seriously good products and if you haven’t heard of Becca make sure you stop by Space NK to give them a go. Becca Cosmetics products are all about highlighting your natural beauty, not covering it up. No one likes to see someone with a face full of cakey make-up (unless there is something really scary underneath) – it’s better to let your natural beauty shine through. You want people to say – you look amazing, not your make-up looks amazing! So let’s start with an introduction to the range…DSC_0236

Becca Mineral Blush

This is a beautiful bright pop of colour which would work on a variety of different skin tones. Becca Cosmetic’s products are as close to natural as can be and formulated without parabens, sulfates or any nasty chemicals. The blush is mineral-based and infused with antioxidants and vitamins A, E and C. For fairer tones I would use this one lightly and for darker skin tones this blush would work beautifully.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter

This is just a beautiful primer/illuminator. Put it on before your foundation and it makes your skin glow, the reason being that it is infused with three unique filtering luminescent pearls, each one adding a different drop of diffused light. Basically this is an Instagram filter – for your face!

Becca Shadow & Light Brow Contour Mousse

If you love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Dip you will love the Becca Shadow & Light Brow Contour Mousse. I apply mine with a brush and have found that this really makes my eyebrows look naturally filled in. Then if you really want to accentuate your brows just dab on the Arch Defining Crème included on your browbone. Works best on freshly threaded brows (wink wink). The brow dip didn’t fade or smudge during the day either so my brows looked their best through the day and into the night!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Poured Rose Gold

This comes in a beautiful compact and if you are a fan of the strobing and/or highlighting/contouring effect than this one’s for you. Sweep on the tops of the cheekbones, down the line of your nose and dab it above your upper lip to create a beautiful contoured look that is as natural as can be. This can be used as a highlighter anywhere – I used mine on my eyelids and even the tops of my shoulders with a strapless dress.

Becca Ultimate Full Lash Perfecting Mascara

This mascara is really cool. It contains micro-tubes which disintegrate or slide off lashes upon removal with water and light pressure from your fingertips, a washcloth, or shower pressure. It’s water-resistant, doesn’t smudge and contains Vitamin E, Lemon Extract, Green Tea Extract and Honeysuckle Extract – all good for your lashes ingredients!

Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette

This is a stunning palette that is great for everyday. The matte shades keep things looking natural and you can also build these up to make them more bold. The shadows are infused with green coffee oil, which awakens the eyes and smooth the lids, while a built-in priming effect extends the wear of your shadow. And guess what? You can also use these wet or dry! With a wet brush this will deepen the shade so go as bold as you want!

Becca Lowlight/highlight Perfecting Palette Poured

This duo is the contouring king. Use the darker shade to contour and the lighter shade to highlight. The great thing about these as that they are super blendable!
