Stocking fillers are one of the best parts of Christmas day. They are what kick off the whole present-opening event and often I look forward to the stocking fillers the best! It’s the small things in life, really. So I’ve got a list of Christmas stocking fillers to please a female from teens and onwards!
Barry M Nail Polish – price varies, starting from £3.99
Barry M Polish is good – I’ve been seriously impressed with their high pigment shades and sheer variety of colours. I love their Quick Dry polishes for a speedy lunchtime mani and I am obsessed with their Daylight Curing range. All you need is a Sunset colour and the Sunset Topcoat – no need for a basecoat as the special formulation bonds to the nail like a gel in daylight but can still be removed with a regular remover. How cool is that? And the price points on these polishes make them a true stocking filler delight.
I’ve always been a fan of Avon since my teens – honestly the arrival of the Avon catalogue was a serious highlight for me! You see, I’ve always been a beauty girl and growing up with Avon, I’ve used their make-up, fragrances, bath and body care…you name it, I’ve probably tried it. However the Planet Spa Caribbean Escape was a new one for me. The packaging on this product is really luxurious – it comes in a glass jar. The cream itself is ultra-thick and moisturising with sea salt extract, algae extract and pearl powder. And how perfect is the scent on a cold winter’s day? This will have you Caribbean dreamin’ in no time.
I Love Chocolate & Oranges and Gingerbread Bath & Shower Crème – £1 at Primark
I Love make the most delicious smelling bath and body treats at a sliver of the price. Honestly I dare you to try these very Christmassy-fragranced shower crèmes. They are perfect to add to a stocking because of their convenient travel size. Very festive as well with the scent! And trust me, they smell exactly as they say they do so if you like a spicy gingerbread scent, the Gingerbread is going to be right up your alley. If you are a fan of Terry’s Chocolate Orange, well, you know which one to choose.
How adorable is this Paul and Joe compact? The compact case itself (below) is £7 but if you want the fill as well it will cost you an additional £12. The cheek colour is really light and illuminating so this can also work as an illuminator to brighten up dull skin in the winter. I don’t know a soul that wouldn’t be happy to find this in their stocking on Christmas.
This is a lovely little candle – great for a stocking filler or Secret Santa. With a gold effect glass and Christmassy foliage decoration, this Christmas Spice candle is a very reasonably priced gift for a stocking and it smells festive as well.
We all love Christmas crackers, as long as there is something good inside. There is no doubt about that in the Roger & Gallet Christmas Cracker! It contains a beautiful Fluer de Figuier Hand & Nail Balm as well as a mini fragrance sample in the same scent. Infused with the sun-drenched Fleur de Figuier aroma and a moisturising blend of shea butter, extra virgin argan oil and the essential fatty acids found in evening primrose oil, this hand cream is bound to help dry winter hands!
I really love Sleek’s palettes and this brand NEW one from them is a cracker. It’s great for party season and for jumping onto the strobing trend. This is a face and body highlight palette so it offers something a little bit different with three baked powders and one cream formula. It’s a fabulous stocking filler at only a tenner!
Avon True Color Perfecting Matte Lipstick (Wild Cherry) prices vary
I love a perfect matte lipstick and preferably one that doesn’t feel too drying. Good news – this one doesn’t! This lipstick still feels ultra-moisturising and really lovely!
Everyone wants longer lashes. Can you think of a better gift to give? My mother in particular has short lashes so I would definitely consider treating her to this lash growth serum. I’ve been using mine for a couple weeks and I really like it. I use it as a primer on my eyelashes before I apply mascara which I feel protects my lashes from drying out. My eyelashes do seem thicker which is a blessing! The key ingredient is a P226 polypeptide combined with a moisturising complex to ensure growth and moisturisation for the lashes.
Paperchase 2016 Diary – prices vary
Let’s not start 2016 without a diary! Paperchase has an amazing variety of them and I would be thrilled if someone gave me a 2016 organiser/diary/calendar in my stocking. Starting the year out on the right foot is the best thing you can do for yourself or for someone else.
Weleda Skin Food £6.95 (Holland & Barrett)
I cannot stand dry hands, elbows, feet, anything. This Weleda skin soother is nothing short of a little miracle maker for dry parts of the body. I love the thick, creamy consistency of it. And it’s selfish to keep these kind of things to yourself no? Share the love and give someone the gift of no more dry hands – ever again!
Beauty Kitchen Abssynian Facial Oil – 15.99 (Holland & Barrett)
This is a beautiful oil by a beautiful brand. If you want to buy British then you can support Beauty Kitchen who is stocked at Holland & Barrett. They also have an amazing ‘Make Your Own Lip Balm’ set too which would be a fabulous Christmas gift. This Abyssinian Oil Aroma Facial Concentrate is an anti-ageing facial oil which is very reasonably priced. It contains Abyssinian oil, a turbo charged version of argan oil, magnolia oil and palmarosa to balance the production of sebum and rosehip oil, which help to promote cellular development and collagen synthesis, which is important for keeping skin smooth and supple.
Inner Core by Taya Hair Strong Anti-Breakage Mask – available from QVC
Everyone needs a good hair mask and this one is amazing having tried it! It feels really luxurious on the hair, smells amazing and is a great gift to give a busy woman. It contains Brazilian black clay and pure bamboo fibers to reinforce hair strength. A great stocking filler!
