Space NK has now revealed their new Spring 2016 launches and let me tell you, they are good! I love Space NK for all my favourite beauty products – even just to browse there makes me really happy. So here is a sneak peek of all that is new and wonderful at my favourite beauty retailer.
NUDE Skincare Progenius Firming Youth Oil is currently available in the U.S. at Sephora so I’m really excited to see it make its way across the pond to us here in the UK. Keep your eye on this one when it lands at Space NK. The ProGenius Firming Youth Oil is power-packed with natural ingredients to fight ageing such as prickly pear extract, peacock’s tail algae extract and passion fruit extract. Together these target signs of ageing, lack of firmness and suppleness while also fighting against free radicals. So basically it’s everything in one bottle!
Next up is NARS who have just launched their new Velvet Matte Skin Tint. This is a real cracker, let me tell you. I don’t usually like tints but this one is really gorgeous and falls somewhere between a tint and a foundation. It provides enough coverage to well, cover things up but isn’t too heavy at the same time. The texture is NARS-creamy and beautiful and the matte finish is lovely. I have really oily skin so this is great at giving my face a more porcelain and flawless look.
Lucky for us this also contains SPF 30 so you get your sun protection with this too. The colour below looks more yellow due to the lighting but it is actually in Light 1 (Finland).

The next product I’m really excited to talk about because it’s all about shielding your skin from the effects of pollution. And this is a real sneak peek because I don’t think this product launches until March into Space NK. The Ren Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist is a really fine mist that you can spray on your face just before you go outdoors to protect skin against the ageing effects of environmental pollution and harmful free radicals. This is amazing and you can simply spritz this on top of your make-up before you go out for the day or keep it in your handbag for top ups.
Environmental pollution can include cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, heavy metals or UV light and all contribute to the ageing of the skin. The active ingredient in this easy-to-use mist is Biosaccharide Gum which forms a non-stick invisible layer over the skin that protect it from harm. Easy as and amazingly effective!
I am a little (okay, a lot!) obsessed by Smith & Cult polishes, made by the creator of Hard Candy (remember that brand?). The polish packaging is total packaging porn and these will sit very prettily on your shelf. I love the name of the below polish as well – called ‘Shattered Souls.’ It’s a pot of gold glittery bits and would be perfect for jazzing up nails any time of the year, especially for a party. And London Fashion Week is coming so why not?
And for lips? Oh well, move over Kylie Lip Kit because I’ve got the newly launched Nude Stix Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencils and they are amazing! I’ve got the blur pencil below which is like a lip primer to smooth things out before applying the matte colour on top.
Below you can see these are really intense matte nudes and are soft and lovely in texture as well. Honestly – these are amazing – can’t wait to get my hands on the other colours as well!
