Glossybox Launches ‘Spring Preen’ Box!

How about this weather hey? The days are getting warmer and the nights longer which is fine in my book. With that comes a spring clean as well, or rather a ‘Spring Preen’ if you are a Glossybox subscriber.

April’s box is packed full of goodies as usual and it just so happened that when I received the box I was literally writing ‘toothpaste’ on my shopping list. So it’s not a surprise when I say my favourite item in this month’s box is the Swiss Smile Whitening Toothpaste.

Toothpaste may not seem exciting but this one is really nice. It looks pretty and sits upright on your shelf, promising to brighten and whiten those teeth for spring. And let’s be honest, toothpaste is an actual staple so I was really excited to see the luxury Swiss Smile Whitening Toothpaste in this month’s box to shake things up a bit.

Another surprise in the box I wasn’t expecting was the Leighton Denny Miracle Mist for nails. I am super busy so I need products that multi-task for me or are speedy to apply. This spray is brilliant and I didn’t realise I needed it until I had it! It makes doing your nails at the last minute and running out the door actually feasible. You simply spray it over painted nails to dry them in seconds. A miracle, indeed.

I missed the launch for Next make-up as I was out of town so was really excited to see the Next Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby in classic red. It’s really lovely and has a creamy texture. The crayon format allows you to line your lips at the same time so it’s easy to use. And red suits everyone so it’s a nice colour to suit a range of skin tones.

Another thing that I was actually looking for was a brow pencil so again, surprise (!) I was really excited to see the Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner in this month’s box. This pencil is great for drawing on those actual brow hairs as the point is super-sharp. It is also double-ended with a highlighter on one end and the brow liner on the other. The shade is really flattering for my eyebrows so this was a really nice find.

Last but certainly not least in this month’s Glossybox is the Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil from The Body Shop. It comes in a mini-size so it’s great for weekend travel. In fact, on my next Europe city break I will definitely be packing this in my carry-on! It’s infused with a blend of three restorative oils, is lightweight and not greasy at all.

I am seeing that Swiss smile everywhere, how is it? I am such a fan of euthymol and marvis toothpastes, with the traditional taste! x
