Superdrug is everywhere and to be honest, that’s kind of relief when you run out of essentials and need to pick something up conveniently and for a good price. From dry hair shampoo to cleansers to cotton buds I rely on my local Superdrug for any last-minute beauty buys or necessities.
Superdrug has also just expanded into Whitechapel, around the corner from Brick Lane, which is a great location as there are not many places around that area to quickly pick up beauty bits. Also, Superdrug will be stocking exclusive beauty items at that particular store (that you won’t be able to find at other locations) which is really exciting! So what’s in my haul from the new Whitechapel store?
Well, this is an essentials post and because shampoo and conditioner are essentials I have included the Superdrug Caring Coconut & Sweet Almond Shampoo and Conditioner. I am in love with the scent of coconut because it reminds me of holidays at the beach so I really like these two for both the scent and the fact that they are cruelty-free.
Since we are on the subject of coconuts, I also really love the I Love Coconut Ice Bath & Shower Creme. It smells amazing – exactly like coconut ice! The 500ml size tube will also last for ages as well so this makes it a really great bargain buy!
Moisturising is an essential part of my regime and I really like the scents of the Superdrug Body Butters – there are a lot of unique fragrances and the Lotus Flower & Cherry Blossom (below) is another example of the many types available!
For affordable skincare, B. is a really good brand. I’ve stocked up on the B. Micellar Oil and B. Essence Lotion below. The B. Micellar Oil is brilliant for removing make-up (and doesn’t make skin feel dry and stripped) and is a fraction of the price of more expensive brands. The B. Essence Lotion acts as a lovely toner that you can splash on after using the B. Micellar Oil to keep skin hydrated.
And last but not least I like a bit of a naughty buy sometimes and this usually comes in the form of Make-up Revolution. This ‘Give Them Nightmares’ palette has 18 shades for creating a really amazing smoky eye! Luckily in this case naughty doesn’t mean pricey!
