I talk about make-up and beauty all the time because I love it. And even though I try a lot of products out there sometimes even I can’t wrap my head around things and need help from the experts. Take make-up brushes for example. I have A LOT of them because I’m a bit of a make-up brush magpie – that is, I like collecting them – rose gold ones, multi-coloured ones and soft ones. However, I don’t necessarily use them every day. The beautiful ones sit there and look at me, feeling left out and under-appreciated. The same three get pulled out every single day and I use them for a variety of different things – even though I have other brushes for those specific tasks. I’m stubborn, okay? Brush stubborn that is.
That’s why I’m pretty excited that Get The Gloss has launched these new heath, beauty and well-being e-guides by experts within the industry. They are little downloadable guides for around a fiver each that explain the more perplexing things about beauty. In this case I am talking about their latest guide, which is all about make-up brushes.
The Ultimate Guide to Make-up Brushes & Tools is the first in a series of practical, download-and-keep guides and it’s a perfect topic to talk about because a lot of people (including myself) can’t quite wrap their head around all of these brushes out there! My favourite brush of all time is the one I use for everything – my BareMinerals Supreme Finisher (below)! So trust me, I know make-up brushes are very important because I couldn’t live without this one.
But still I would like to know more! The Ultimate Guide to Make-up Brushes & Tools is 44 pages long and talks about the history of brushes and tools, the pros and cons of using synthetic brushes, the tools and applicators that will revolutionise your beauty routine, the best methods, gadgets and products for brush cleaning and the latest make-up brush and tool development and technology set to change the face of make-up artistry. There are also other amazing guides about skincare, nutrition and fitness!
