Although I talk a lot about luxe beauty I can’t resist a good bargain either. And I will never shun good value for money when it comes to beauty. Some beauty products really do go the extra mile without being too overly expensive. So if you are looking for the best value make-up I’ve got some great new launches that have recently caught my eye! Read on to discover more…
I was really intrigued by this brand when it first launched because it’s a make-up range for active women and one you can actually wear to the gym. I think this is so innovative and interesting because it’s true that some women don’t like to go out without make-up. Now this is completely a personal thing and I never thought about wearing make-up to the gym but what if you need to go somewhere after and don’t have time to put on make-up?
Well enter Sports FX which is a new range designed for active women. They make make-up that is breathable and made for being active. This BB Balancing Boosting BB Cream acts as both a moisturiser and a foundation so it’s breathable and good for skin at the same time with vitamins E, C and F to rehydrate and rebalance. It is also non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) and contains SPF 20 so you can slick this on pre or post-workout and go, go, go.
So if going out to the gym without make-up on sounds scary there is actually hope with the entire Sports FX range with mascaras, BB Creams, etc. I think it’s a brilliant concept!
Gosh Copenhagen is one of my favourite high-street (available in Superdrug) make-up brands out there. They use natural ingredients where possible and the brand comes from Denmark. This is where they get their inspiration from in regards to ingredient sourcing – using Nordic actives like sea buckthorn in their products. The Gosh Primer Plus is a new release from the brand and is a multi-tasking product in that it acts as both a primer and a tinted moisturiser. It is also anti-pollution so great for people who live in urban environments. Honestly anything you buy from Gosh is good – I’ve always been impressed by their products.
Banana powder is something that I’ve been seeing everywhere lately and Gosh Copenhagen has recently launched a 2-in-1 banana powder which is both a primer and setting powder in one. Genius! You can use it on cleansed skin to minimise pores, fine lines and redness or on top of make-up to set it. Or both – you choose!
