Lipsticks, like handbags are a girl’s best friend. There is nothing like a lipstick to brighten up your whole face and your whole mood, in my opinion. Lipstick is my desert island product – the one item I couldn’t live without. And when you discover the right one it’s like magic! I’ve got some brand new AMAZING lipsticks that I’ve fallen in love with lately and some of them have just launched so you are in for a treat.

• Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Shine Excess Shine & Care Lip Color – Hot, Nude, Maharaja, Silenzio, Crescendo
In my opinion, the team at Armani beauty just don’t get it wrong. Their beauty launches are always fabulous and their textures, pigments and formulas always innovative. The new Ecstasy Shine lipsticks are the latest launch in lipsticks from Giorgio Armani and they are an absolute dream. I hate lipsticks that dry my lips out but these are a hybrid between a lipstick, gloss and balm so you get the benefits of all three in one – genius! These are great lipsticks for every day – they feel really moisturising on the lips and the texture is creamy with a bit of shine. The formula contains liquid pigments swirled with a trio of emollient oils for a plumping effect and there are so many shades to choose from it’s hard to know where to start!
• Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick – 03,06,07,10,11
I love these new lipsticks which are the latest launch from Bourjois. You really can’t go wrong with Bourjois lipsticks and the new Velvet range leaves a lovely matte, velvety look to the lips which is very on trend at the moment. The pigment is also long-lasting – it doesn’t smudge. These shades felt comfortable on my lips as well and not at all like the feeling of drying paint that some matte lipsticks give you. If you haven’t found a matte lipstick you like I would suggest giving these guys a go!
• Winky Luxe Glitter Balm
I love the packaging and design behind Winky Luxe which is stocked exclusively on ASOS and comes all the way from the USA. The lipsticks are like little bullet-shaped pods and this Glitter Balm is like nothing I’ve seen before. It’s a semi-sheer balm and just leaves a touch of shimmer finish. And the other cool thing this does? The formula reacts with your skin’s pH levels to create a perfect shade of pink for you. So, for a natural look this is a fabulous product (and it smells of coconut)!
• Winky Luxe Double Matte Whip
And another cool product from Winky Luxe is the Winky Luxe Double Matte Whip. This is a lovely soft whipped matte formula that feels light and comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t feel drying at all and I love this dusty rose shade that I’ve got here. The colour also lasts for a long time and the packaging is playful and fun – what’s not to love?
