Wow I know I’m a little late to the Fenty Beauty game. But better late than never right? I’ve been waiting to get my hands on Fenty forever and finally did. And since I’ve tried these there are some more products that I need to get my hands on. Did someone say Stunna Lip Paint? Here’s what I really think – read my Fenty Beauty review here…
I love it when beauty gets playful and also easy! I’m a big fan of the stick applicator – fun to play with and this Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Yacht Lyfe is one of the most fun to play with yet. I love the shimmery peachy pink of the pigment in this – it’s perfect for my skin. I’ve used this to highlight and also as an eyeshadow. It’s great to carry in the bag for on-the-go touch ups as well. Pretty and fun – can you go wrong?
Again, I’m a fan of the stick application! This is a great on-the-go product and the shade of French Vanilla is perfectly suited to my skin. I love that Fenty have so many shades to choose from for so many skin types from pale to dark. It’s often the girls at either end of the shade spectrum that get forgotten and Fenty have nailed it. This is a matte formula, stick foundation that you can use a foundation or concealer or both! It blends really easily with a cream to powder formula and if you want to get a stick for contouring as well just get it in a couple shades darker than your actual skintone.
I think one of the most talked about products from the Fenty Beauty collection was the Highlighter Duos. I mean they are pretty fabulous. And you can’t beat the names (I mean, Mean Honey and Hustla Baby? So hip-hop. So cool). I never knew I needed highlighter until I tried it. Highlighter is great (just don’t overdo it) when you need a little bit of glow. If you are light touched about it then highlighter can do wonderful things for you. I also like that you get two shades in one with this. I used this as both a highlighter and eyeshadow for an ethereal glow.
Again, another winner from Fenty Beauty is the Highlighting Duo in Lightening Dust and Fire Crystal. SO pretty when applied with a light touch to the top of the cheekbones and on the brow bone. I love a minimal make-up look with this – you will look so natural and glowing that no one will be able to touch your glow!
Primer was another make-up item I didn’t know I needed until I used it. The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer is a gorgeous soft matte primer that is great for me because I have really shiny skin so this helps tone down the skin but still lets my real skin shine through. It’s basically just a softening filter for your face and helps to tone down the look of pores as well.
Have you tried Fenty Beauty? Do you think it lives up to the hype? Let me know your thoughts!
