I’m a busy girl. And when I say busy I mean BUSY. I often don’t have time to spend hours on my make-up and between blog, work and events I am often touching up on the go. I recently met the founders of Nudestix who are all about the everyday modern woman who doesn’t have much time to spend on her make-up everyday. They’ve created an entire make-up range from sticks – hence the name Nudestix. I decided to give them a run for their money to see if I could really do my make-up on the run. Here are my faves…
Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color (Colours – Illumi-Naughty, Naughty & Spice, Bondi Bae)
I love Nudestix because I was actually able to meet the founders of the brand who are super lovely and are out there to make applying make-up for the girl-on-the go easy. Nudestix are hardworking products and everything comes in a stick form for on-the-go touch ups or easy application at home. This is make-up for the modern woman, which I absolutely love.
The Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color is a stick balm that you can use on eyes, lips and cheeks and conveniently comes with a blending brush on the other end so you aren’t searching through your make-up bag looking for your brush. The brush is super soft and luxe as well and the colour blends superbly. I’ve got the colours Bondi Bae (good for a bit of a bronzed look), Illumi-Naughty (amazing highlighter for a celestial glow) and Naughty & Spice (great everyday colour that looks great on lips, cheeks and eyes).
Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color (Colours – Copper Foil and Chocolate)
Again, I love the ease at applying the Nudestix products and the Magnetic Eye Color sticks are no different. These are stunning shades and you can simply pencil them across the eyelids or use them just to line the eyes. Super easy to apply and I’m in love with the shade Copper Foil which is a coppery metallic. The colour lasts as well. I’ve got oily eyelids and the colour stayed put through the day for me. Again, another winner of a product and one that makes it easy to get ready in the wink of an eye (literally).
Nudestix Intense Matte Lip & Cheek Pencil – Purity, Kiss & Rose
One for the lips and cheeks comes the Nudestix Intense Matte Lip & Cheek Pencil. I love the matte shades and that these are also super easy to blend on the cheeks too. When I first tried one of these out a couple of years ago I was really very impressed with the colour payoff. The colour does not budge on the lips. You can easily blend the pigment onto your cheeks however with your fingers. The stick also comes with a sharpener so you it doubles as a lip liner as well so you can fill in lips with the sharp tip. This is a fabulous product – really easy to wear and amazing colour payoff! Well worth an investment or two.
I’m in love with this palette and probably because the colours have been created by some of my favourite beauty Instagrammers like @ssssamantha and @saythelees. The palette contains six Magnetic Matte Lip Pencils all in fabulous colours. My favourite colours are Baby K (a fresh matte coral) and Montaigne (natural nude brown). I love the lift that Baby K gives to my face. Coral works so well on my skin tone. These are 6 fabulous sticks of colour that again double as a lip liner and lipstick in one. The colour lasts for ages and the matte looks fabulous!
Nude Stix Concealer Pencil (Colour – Light 2)
I love a stick foundation and I love the fact that this one blends so easily. You can blend with your fingers – who says make-up has to be so hard? This is a great product to carry in the handbag for touch ups on-the-go. The formula is super creamy and hides an array of sins from undereye circles to blemishes. Honestly you will wonder what you did without it.
So whaddya think? Would you switch to a stick formula to save time?
