If you are looking for a cool gift that you know will knock the socks of someone because it’s just so darn thoughtful then you have come to the right place. This year, it’s all about personalization. Personalised gifts make people feel special and that’s exactly the feeling you want to give at Christmas. So, read on for the best personalised gifts for Christmas – I promise they are GREAT ones!
Lanai Blo Professional Hairdryer (personalised)
This year it’s all about PERSONALISATION! Which is really exciting because personalization makes people feel special. If a gift is personalised with your name on it well, it just makes it about 10 times better. So a MUST HAVE for Christmas is a personalised hair dryer from Lanai Blo. I am in LOVE with mine and it has my name on it but of course you can personalise it with any name you would like. I can’t think of a better gift for a girl who loves beauty. The hair dryer is also super high-powered with a 2400 Watt motor (meaning a speedier blow dry) so a good present for a girl on-the-go too. It also has Ionic technology meaning that it has an anti-static effect, making your hair sleek and smooth. Can’t go wrong with that!
If you want a really unique gift this year for Christmas then I would definitely recommend a DNA test. Everyone wants to know about what makes them unique – right? The Atlas Biomed DNA test is pretty simple to take – you simply have to send a saliva sample in a test tube and then send it off the lab. From there it’s analyzed and a few weeks later you get your results back. You can discover your carrier statues for certain hereditary conditions (I was so happy to discover I didn’t have any!) and you can also find out how your DNA affects your nutrition and food intolerance. From my DNA test I learned I need to get more Vitamin B5 and the results also included a list of foods that I should eat to get those nutrients. The test also goes into ancestry and tells you paternal and maternal haplogroups based on 200 populations. I was super surprised to discover some tribes from South East Asia for me! Mind you this is thousands and thousands of years ago.
It also gives you some tips on how to make workouts more effective and my recommendations rang very true with tips to focus on strength training and endurance training where I excel.
There is also advice on lifestyle changes to make – one of mine was to drink less. I’m by no means an alcoholic but I do drink occasionally and it did say I should limit alcohol which I’ve been doing. Since I’ve taken the test I’ve had not one sip of alcohol!
This is a super interesting and useful Christmas gift to give someone – and it might just change their life!
Do you remember reading these stories as a child? I DO! And how amazing you can be your own Little Miss (Fill In The Blank With Your Name). This is such a cute gift to get someone and will put a smile on the face of anyone – no matter what their age! Who doesn’t want a personalised mug like this one after all? Available at Debenhams where they will personalise in selected stores.
I love the new Elemis candles because they all have aromatherapy benefits and this one is specifically to calm the mind. So, for the stressed-out friend, this candle would be a godsend. It’s got 15 pure essential oils including Rosewood, Clary Sage and Lavandin. All ultra-soothing. There is something about a candle flickering in the room that makes everything a little bit more peaceful and calm. An absolute stunner of a Christmas present for the girl who needs some zen. Mine is even personalised with my name on it!
Along with the Atlas Biomed DNA test there is also the Atlas Biomed Microbiome test which again makes a fabulous gift for Christmas. There is a huge focus now on gut health and I’ve written a post about it HERE. Essentially having a wide range of gut flora is very beneficial to your health and helps you digest food easier and also a happy gut is a happy life. Apparently, a lot of our immune system is in our gut! I was super interested to learn the nationality of my gut microbiome which was a mix between rural Russians and Danish. Who knew? The test gives you recommendations on everything from how much fibre you need to personalised food recommendations which I found really useful. Again, this is a really fabulous gift and a thoughtful one at that – who doesn’t want their loved ones to be healthy?
The gift of good health. What a great gift to give at Christmas! I actually always ask for supplements at Christmas because they tend to be pricey and I like to get quality ones that I know are made well. One of those such supplements that would make a great gift for a girl who loves green beauty is the Samaya Ayurvedic Skincare Supplements. You can choose the right supplement based on your constitution which is either Kapha, Vata or Pitta.
If you don’t know your dosha (constitution) then you can do a questionnaire on the Samaya site which will tell you which one you are. I am a Kapha so would obviously go for the Kapha supplements which would be tailored to me. The supplements contain all-natural Ayurvedic herbs and active ingredients such as Turmeric, Triphala, Gotu Kola and Aloe Vera concentrate. The Kapha blend also includes herbs such as Ashwagandha and Ginger to stimulate the Kapha metabolism and balance oily Kapha skin.
The supplements work on nourishing your skin as well as decreasing tiredness and fatigue. The supplements also come in the prettiest package which is why they make such a nice gift indeed!
