Luxury beauty products. For those that don’t buy into it’s hard to know what is worth spending money on and what is not. I’ve put together a list of my top 5 luxury beauty products I think it’s worth spending money on this month – from mascara to masks to mists to moisturisers to micellar cleansers (yes they all start with an M strangely enough). Sure they might be a little more than what you are used to spending but I’ve tried and tested them all and feel they are worth the splurge!
I love treating my skin to a Sunday facial every week and I really go for it as well. The Darpin Lumiere Essentielle Instant Purifying and Illuminating Mask is a new one for me to add to my arsenal and it’s super luxe – leaving skin feeling velvety soft at the finale. This is a dual-purpose face mask that works together with step 1 being the Instant Purifying Mask with Kaolin Clay that helps draw out impurities. Step 2 is the Instant Illuminating Mask which uses Hyaluronic Acid to plump and replenish the skin. The whole experience feels like a real treat because the masks smell amazing with essential oils of citrus, ginger and cedarwood. Who needs to spend all their money for a facial at a salon when you can do it at home with this mask?
I’ve always been a big fan of Darphin – the products are simply beautiful! I also love a gentle but effective cleanser and I’m quite picky about my cleansers to be honest because my whole skincare routine starts from cleansing. The Darphin Lumiere Essentielle Illuminating Micellar Cleanser is a beautiful cleanser that transforms from a gel to an oil to a milk so it feels so luxurious to use on the skin and it rinses away with no effort at all, taking with it all the grime and make-up from the day. It also doesn’t leave skin feeling dry at the end – bonus points.
I mean I love everything about Omorovicza – the products are just simply incredible. I love the whole story behind the brand as well and we all know Hungary is famous for its thermal mud and hot springs. The products are expensive and luxurious and they do feel a treat to use. The latest product in from Omorovicza is the Illuminating Moisturiser which feels really moisturising but manages to feel lightweight at the same time. If you like a rich moisturiser without the heavy feel then this one is certainly one to consider. The moisturiser not only looks pretty but also works with a Hydro Mineral Transference delivery system (fancy!) that helps the skin absorb the minerals in the cream. It also contains Ruby Crystal which helps to blur imperfections so acts as a great primer too!
I am obsessed with hydration mists. Literally obsessed. So when I found out that Omorovicza did a Magic Moisture Mist I was on the hunt for it. Luckily it landed through the door with the March package from Lookfantastic. I literally squealed out loud when I saw it. Mists are great for refreshing skin throughout the day when it needs a hydration boost, on long-haul flights or just in the bag to spritz on-the-go. The Magic Moisture Mist is an ultra-fine mist that contains antioxidants and oils such as avocado and macadamia (but the mist is not oily, trust me). It also helps defend against pollution so again, this would be a great deskside treat to use on your skin throughout the day to keep it protected and soothed.
Don’t you hate it when you go to the bathroom and look at yourself in the mirror and see your mascara has made a runner down your face? Yeah, me too. The Eyeko Yoga Waterproof Mascara fortunately does NOT do that because it’s waterproof. However, it doesn’t feel stiff like some waterproof mascaras do. Nope, this one makes lashes feel super soft due to its conditioning formula with green tea and botanical fruit extracts. I’ll have some more of that please.
