Lookfantastic #LFBESTOFBRITISH Beauty box has landed this month and it’s well-timed for the Olympics I think! The box is a celebration of all things British and beauty with some fabulous British brands showcased. Let’s have a look inside…
The box has some generous treats in it this month and I’ve picked a few favourites to share with you. There are six products in the box this month (I’ve added the Leighton Denny Nail Polish in as well from Lookfantastic although it is not included in this month’s box).
One of my favourite British brands is Balance Me. They make natural products which are really good quality and in this month’s Lookfantastic box there is a Balance Me Congested Skin Serum. My skin has been really congested this month in particular – I’m not sure if it is the weather, pollution or what. I am really looking forward to trying this Balance Me serum out and tackling my congested skin!
I love this Ren Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist – I actually have the full-size version. You simply spray it as a last step before you head out the door and it provides an invisible layer of protection against pollution and harmful elements. It is fantastic and I would suggest carrying this around in your bag if you live in a city for extra protection!
I love a facial spritz and this Bloom and Blossom Rejuvenating Facial Spritz is a lovely refresher in the heat. This spritz has 11 ingredients in it as well and it’s all natural. Not only does it refresh it also combats wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. Who says you can’t have it all?
Also in the box is a lovely Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm. This is really nourishing and smells amazing too. It contains British Beeswax and hydrating Borage Oil and feels really moisturising on the lips too.
For honourable mentions from Lookfantastic this month (not included in the box) I also wanted to mention Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser, Mio The Activist Firming Active Body Oil and Dr Botanicals Orange Blossom Facial Oil. All of these brands are also British and fabulous!
I love this Mio The Activist Firming Active Body Oil. This is great to use after a body brush and then apply it to targeted areas of concern – for me and for most women that is the hips and thighs. This is also great for really dry skin as it contains essential oils that nourish and help increase skin’s elasticity.
Another great discovery from Lookfantastic is Dr Botanicals Orange Blossom Facial Oil (I actually made this myself at their event). Dr Botanicals has some amazing natural ingredients and superpowered plant and flower oils. If you are into green beauty then please do look into this brand as they have a wide range of skincare products that suit all types of skin concerns.
And last but not least I love a hot cloth cleanser and an honourable mention goes to Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is a great gentle cleanser that I love using in the morning as it wakes me up but doesn’t overstrip my skin. The cleanser contains a nourishing blend of Damask Rose and Orange Peel Oils and the cleanser itself smells amazing. Another green beauty hero!
