Around the World With Glossybox

Glossybox celebrates its 4th birthday this month and with that is honouring its global experts from around the world – which brings us to the focus for this month’s box: beauty discoveries from around the world! DSC_0253

Now I am an avid traveller and love nothing more than picking up beauty products from around the world so seeing as I am not going abroad this month after trips to both South Korea and Morocco this summer, I am happy that Glossybox has brought the world to me!

First off there is Naobay which caught my eye from the start because of the beautiful packaging. I am not surprised that this Spanish brand is natural and organic due to the real wood cap and clean look. This product looks and feels like a micellar water with its clear formula and ability to remove make-up and grime from the face. It is also soothing and hydrating, with chamomile and gotu kola extracts. For sensitive skin this would be a fantastic product and would also make a great travel product for the plane – just remember to decant this into a 100ml bottle so you can take it with you!

Next up is SASS Intimate Purifying Cleanser which is pretty self explanatory! However you can use this anywhere on the body in the shower and the key point is that it’s gentle, using a probitoic to balance the pH level of your skin.

A full-size MeMeMe Lipglide in ‘Playful Peach’ is also included in this month’s Glossybox. I first discovered this brand through Glossybox and have since found this cosmetics line to be quite good – with highly pigmented products that last. The colour is perfect for this time of year when the sun comes out (or if the sun isn’t out is more like it). It has a matte formula and because of the crayon application, it makes it really easy to line your lips so you don’t need a lip liner with this one. The colour is buildable as well so you can go as light or as bright as you want!

My favourite product in the box has to be the Manna Kadar Lash Primer from the U.S.A. Using mascara on lashes everyday is a bit like covering your hair with hairspray everyday. Sometimes they need a break. Think of the lash primer as a serum for your lashes, before you put on your mascara. This will help to keep them in good condition. The lash primer contains vitamin B12 to nourish and condition.

Last but certainly not least is Emite, a brand from Sweden who have included their Artist Colour Powder Blush. The interesting thing about this is that it is a blush/bronzer hybrid. Because my complexion is fair, I would probably use this as a bronzer instead of a blusher but I like the fact it has a rosy tone to it to change things up a bit!
