Revealing the Lookfantastic #LFJETSETTER Box

Summer means jet setting off for holidays – usually somewhere warm and with a beach. So in the name of jet setting, the Lookfantastic #LFJETSETTER Beauty Box has just launched this June. It’s purpose is to prep and preen you for holiday with lots of little goodies inside. If you are a big fan of beauty boxes like me, Lookfantastic does a good one and this month mine also came with an issue of Elle Magazine – win!

So let’s talk about what’s inside the box of course as the first order of the day. This one is packed full of beauty treats – some I know and some I don’t which is the beauty of it all because it means I am discovering new products but still getting my favourites.

First up is a Naobay Organic Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser. For all the green beauty lovers out there – this one is for you! Naobay makes really lovely products and this one is no different – containing Rosehip and Sweet Almond Oil, it smells and feels lovely too.

I was really excited to see this Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream in the box. Caudalie is one of my favourite beauty brands and I haven’t actually tried this eye cream before so I was really looking forward to using it. This eye cream is special – by special I mean it contains copper, silver and iridescent pearlisers which help illuminate and brighten and it’s also anti-ageing which everyone should be concerned about, even if you don’t have any wrinkles. Prevention is always better than the cure.

P1012408Another interesting find in the Lookfantastic #LFJETSETTER Box was the Dead Sea Spa Magik Beauty Balm BB Cream. This is like skincare fused with make-up in that the formula contains minerals from the Dead Sea and also Vitamin E. The colour is medium but blendable depending on your skin colour.

And we’ve talked about brightening under the eye but what about brightening the teeth? I can’t think of anyone who would say no to that so I think it is brilliant that Lookfantastic have also included three packs of teeth whitening strips from Mr. Blanc (love that name, clever marketing). These are really gentle so good for people who’s teeth get sensitive after using teeth-whitening products (like me). They don’t contain any peroxide so are safe for gums and teeth. Good for first-timers too!

I am a really big fan of Korres so was really thrilled to see the Korres Basil Lemon Shower Gel in the box. Korres is from Greece and sometimes their products can be tricky to find. The combination of Lemon and Basil is also very unique and I found it very zesty and refreshing!

I was also very excited to see this Tan Organic Self Tan Oil. I love the idea of an organic tanning oil and one that isn’t greasy? Amazing! The oil also smells really nice with a citrus scent and doesn’t have that weird biscuit-like smell that other self-tanning oils/creams/sprays do!
