MILK Beauty: Mobile Beauty for the Time-Starved!

I am seriously time-starved. I work hard and play hard (but mostly work hard). And after working hard I want to relax. And I want convenience too. I have slowly, over the last two years switched to doing everything online. I have shopped for groceries online, ordered all my clothes from online, watched all my TV shows online through paid subscriptions, have ordered cleaning services online, etc. So why would that not extend to beauty services too? I was delighted to be able to try the MILK Beauty service, where beauty appointments are online with literally a click of a button. Your therapist then comes to your home to perform the service, whether that’s a manicure, pedicure, massage, wax or facial.

And let me tell you, once you have tried it you will be hooked. It’s time-saving and convenient. You don’t have to go anywhere or wait, with MILK Beauty – everything comes to you – that’s the beauty of it.

I was able to try a 60 minute coconut oil massage, squeezed into a busy Saturday schedule. Let me tell you that this was a lovely treat and I didn’t have to go anywhere! My therapist came to me, on time with a mobile massage table, towels, oil and even relaxing music. So I literally didn’t have to lift a finger. I imagine this service would also be amazing if you were getting ready for a big event and needed tanning services, a wax and a facial. And I for one, would rather not show myself to the world after a facial which is why I think this is a brilliant service for the time-starved.

The massage was a relaxing, deep tissue massage. It was initially strange to have a massage in my own space but it was easy to get used to quickly and my mind soon drifted away. And no travelling on the tube to get anywhere – that is the best part! The prices for the MILK Beauty services are also quite reasonable I think – they are standard London prices but this is quite good considering they come to you. For a 60-minute massage you will be paying £70 but you can also get services like a back and shoulder massage for £35 as well as a 15-minute nail polish change for £16. So there are a wide range of prices to suit everyone.

I’m pretty sure that the next time I am feeling tired and run down but don’t have any time, I will definitely be booking a massage through MILK Beauty!
