I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that may or may not like Kylie Jenner but one thing that girl CAN do is rock a sports luxe look. All she needs are Adidas leggings and a midriff shirt and she is killin’ it. I love a bit of a sports luxe look myself and have taken a little bit of this and a little bit of that and thrown it together in this post for a double lookbook.
First up, I’m so glad that American high-school varsity jackets have come back into style lately. I love this one from Nine Lives London – it’s pretty cool and it’s quite thick and warm as well even on those cold days. Varsity jackets are perfect with jeans or sports luxe leggings too. They are meant to be oversized as well so it looks like you have literally just received it from the captain of the football (American football) team.
I’ve paired this look with a cool, multi-coloured top from Hype which I will show you in more detail in the next look. I love Quay Australia sunglasses as well – I could literally buy the whole site. Lots of different shades for different moods.
So next up we have Hype which are a clothing brand that mostly do sports luxe. I love this multi-coloured crop top – it’s called the Sunset Liquid Lava Crop Crew for a reason. This shirt is a breathe of fresh air in all the greys, beige and sea of black clothes I’ve been wearing lately to match this dull grey weather. It’s fun and funky and the shock of blue and pink is nice. I like the oversized logo on the front of the top and if you haven’t heard, logos are coming baaaack!
In this look, I’ve paired the crop top with a pair of Topshop jeans – easy as and effortless for the weekend.
The last look I’ve gone full out Kylie Jenner. Now this is a look I think she would be rockin’ – everything is from Hype – the top, the leggings and even the shoes!
I really love these Hype leggings and the branded waistband – very Kylie if you ask me. There is also a logo at the bottom of one side of the leggings which I like as well.
I’ve topped off the sports luxe look with well, sporty shoes! Hype also has shoes and these are dark grey trainers that would pretty much go with anyone. They were quite comfy and lightweight to walk around in as well.
And last but not least is what I like to call the mermaid holographic backpack from Hype. I really love this and had several people stop and say they liked it on the day that I wore it out. This is no wallflower rucksack – this one is mermaid, holographic and loud all at once and it’s fabulous. This would be a fabulous bag for the gym or for a festival – it just totally has THAT look.
Is sports luxe for the weekend or every day?
