Taking a Look: The Latest Launches from MAC

I am a big fan of MAC and always have been. Honestly they do THE BEST collaborations! I mean from Mariah Carey to Caitlyn Jenner – seriously they have some amazing collabs all across the board. In fact, I think that is where their strength is – keeping things always fresh and modern and always looking for inspiration through the people they partner with. MAC continuously evolves and changes and sometimes it’s hard to keep up! I’ve got some MAC new launches that are amazing and will talk you through as they are great for spring. Think 90s cool and lots of sexy colour as well…

MAC New Launches and Make-up Art Cosmetics

First up is the Make Up Art Cosmetics collection that has just landed. MAC have teamed up with three make-up masters – Diane Kendal, James Kaliardos and Kabuki for a collection that is pretty rockin’ for spring. I am obsessed with this GLAMORIZE ME palette by Diane Kendal (below). Just look at the rich texture and colour on these six cream eyeshadows. The texture is also a dream – you can simply apply these with your finger and they melt onto the eyelid.

The colours below are great for a spring smoky eye that is a bit more sexy. Taking an eyeliner brush you can also turn these into an eyeliner.

MAC x Diane Kendal also have this fabulous STUDIO QUIKTRIK STICK which is a double-ended mult-purpose stick that you can use for highlighting, contouring and bronzing. An amazing product to take on holiday as it is so multi-purpose. Eases the weight in your make-up bag!

And from their collection with Kabuki a very 90s vibe matte lipstick has emerged (I am a huge fan of the 90s) – this grey-toned matte shade is a really long-lasting lip shade that will definitely get the looks. Pair this with a choker and a flannel shirt and you are so 90s. The colour below is This Modern Age

And from their third make-up master, James Kaliardos I’ve got the Bloodstone lipstick below – it’s limited edition so get your hands on it while you can. It’s the most classic, sexy red I’ve seen for awhile. And the formula is gorgeous as well – it doesn’t feel drying on the lips and leaves it with a light sheen. Think Paris in spring:)

And as I said before I am OBSESSED with the 90s look and we all know that with the 90s looks comes matte lips in a whole slew of beige and browns and nudes. MAC have pretty much hit this nail right on the head with their new Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours. These are gorgeous shades from Simply Smoked to Esspresso to Cafe Au Spice.

The pigment in the Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour is amazing. The finish is ‘liquid suede’ and it really is as described. The colour is long-lasting and I really love the colours because they truly reflect the 90s for me.
