Who doesn’t have a bit of wanderlust? It’s good to dream and especially in the summertime wanderlust peaks – it’s the warmer weather that infiltrates our brain and has us daydreaming of far-flung places. Wanderlust is important – it keeps us curious. This month’s dazzling beauty box from Lookfantastic is all about Wanderlust and the box itself is gorgeous – with hues of pinks and blues over its glossy cover. Shall we take a little peak inside the Lookfantastic Wanderlust beauty box?
Lookfantastic Wanderlust Beauty Box: Unboxing
On the first peek inside the box I was thrilled to see several products that I was really keen to try including the Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo and the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I’ve been wanting to try First Aid Beauty since they first popped up in Sephora in the US.
So as I said, I am really keen to try the Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo – it’s a strengthening shampoo for dry and brittle hair. It’s perfect for summer because our hair always undergoes a bit of damage in the summer – it’s a given with the sun, wind and salt water of the sea or chlorinated pool water. Kerastase as a hair brand also has a stellar reputation for WORKING. So this is a fab, luxury addition and a treat for your hair!
Now the next product I was thrilled to see because I am a bit of a facial mist addict. Every desk I use has at least three of them and I always carry them when I travel, making this the perfect little wanderlust item for your travels this summer. The spray is the Rosewood Reviving Mist from MONU and it smells amazing and feels great too. You can use this in a variety of ways – to set make-up, to wake-up your skin or to actually soothe your senses. With essential oils from lemon and rosewood as well as sandalwood, petitgrain, geranium and clary sage this will not only soothe your skin but also your spirit.
The next product is great if you love green beauty and also need a great moisturiser in general. The Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser is a lovely cream with a fabulous texture that sinks into the skin and doesn’t leave it greasy. This is also good for acne-prone skin and I for one always break out into spots when travelling. This does what it says it does – balance the skin. So if your skin feels irritated, angry and full of spots – this one might just be for you!
As I said I have been wanting to try First Aid Beauty since I first spotted their products years ago in Sephora. When travelling it’s easy for skin to become dull and congested. I recently discovered my love for glycolic acid and these Radiance Pads contain both glycolic and lactic acid which work to exfoliate the skin and reach deep down into the depths of skin to really clean out your pores. Whether travelling for the summer or living in a polluted city then these will be great to use to clean out the pores!
And the perfect nude lip colour for spring is the Hailey Baldwin for Model Co Super Lips Long Lasting Lip Lacquer. This is a lip gloss meets lipstick and the pigment it it is amazing – it’s rich and I am in love with the colour because it suits anyone. The perfect nude for the summer.
I was so pleasantly surprised by the Bellapierre Shimmer Highlighter in the Lookfantastic Wanderlust beauty box. This shimmer is an absolute dream – it’s pigmented and has an almost angelic look to it – like fairy dust. It’s shimmery but in the best possible way – with pigment over sparkle. You could use this in a number of ways making it the perfect multi-tasking product for the summer – on your cheekbones, as an eyeshadow or across the shoulders in a summer dress.
