Ever wanted to steal your partner’s fragrance? Well if your partner is of the opposite sex then I’ve got some fabulous unisex fragrances that both men and women can use. At least it makes packing for a holiday that tiny bit easier as both of you can share the same fragrance. Sharing is caring after all…
Best Scents For Him and Her – The Best Unisex Fragrances
This is a stunning fragrance, beautifully-packaged in a gender-neutral look and feel – clean and simple so it would appeal to either a man or a woman. This is the latest fragrance from Eight & Bob and it’s a real winner. This scent smells really fresh and clean – a lot like fresh cut grass with a bit of citrus and florals thrown in for good measure. I love that this fragrance can be used by either a man or a woman and that essentially you could shop and buy this fragrance for both yourself and your partner of the opposite sex. The top notes are bergamot, orange and pear (I can really smell bergamot in this) and then it moves to heart notes of jasmine, rose and orange blossom (I LOVE orange blossom) and deepens further with musk, mate and ambroxan. Mate is a form of green tea from South America and that’s what I think gives this fragrance such a fresh, grassy feel to it. Fabulous and fresh – perfect for summer.
Another dreamy unisex scent and one to steal from your partner of the opposite sex. This is a fresh, woody scent that I absolutely love. I love the scent of smoked vetiver in the fragrance – it’s woody and smoky all at once so gives the fragrance some sexiness. I think this fragrance could be worn anywhere. As a woman wearing this it gives off a mysterious yet powerful vibe and as a man wearing this it gives off a fresh and modern vibe. The interesting thing about this fragrance is that it can be mixed with the Clean Reserve Sueded Oud to make it even deeper. I love that you can then create a third fragrance from this if you also own the Sueded Oud. The Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver is complex without being too much so with notes of vetiver, blonde cedarwood and myrrh – you can wear this every day. And just think that when you go on holiday with your partner of the opposite sex you only need to pack one fragrance. That’s when you know you are in love.
This fragrance is one of my favourites. It’s bright, uplifting and mood-boosting at the first whiff. This one was created by renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas who also created the Roger & Gallet The Fantaisie I’ve included in another post HERE. He found his inspiration for this fragrance from the gardens of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. Bergamot is the key ingredient in this fragrance and it’s a fresh, pure and fragrant one. Bergamot to me is unisex so can be worn by both a man or a woman. This fragrance hits you at first with a burst of bergamot paired with top notes of blackcurrant and tangerine and then moves to a heart of orange blossom, Arabian jasmine and gardenia. It deepens further with base notes of Benzoin, Cypriol, musk and sandalwood. This is overall a woody and uplifting citrus scent – perfect for either a man or a woman.
I like this fragrance because it’s a cute handbag-sized one so it’s perfect to carry around during the day or even to pack away for a holiday. This is a sweeter fragrance than the Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver that is inspired by the world after a lush rainfall. And it really does smell that way – it smells of sweet cleanliness, pureness and lightness. It’s said to capture the energy of a rainforest the moment after a fresh rainfall with notes of fruity florals blended with fresh patchouli vetiver and musks. An absolute stunner of a fragrance and also something slightly different from your typical floral fragrance – all sorts of floral notes hit your nose with this one, with a slight undertone of fresh grass. This one could be on the sweet side for a man but I still think it could sit in the unisex category due to the underlying notes fresh cut grass.
