I am a big fan of a DIY mask night at home. I like to use masks to target real skin issues as they are much more concentrated than your everyday skincare. Here are three new masks to try at home on a Sunday night!
Three New Masks To Try At Home
01. Starskin Twist & Spout Juice Lab – Wheat Sprout + Celery and Raspberry & Lentil
As I said, I love a good sheet mask and this one is a really unique one by STARSKIN with the JuiceLab Razzle Dazzle Power C+ Booster Face Mask. In fact, I have never come across anything quite like it. The mask of course is inspired by South Korean technology and the booster mask is embedded with freeze-dried 75% Vitamin C dots which surprisingly are 5x more concentrated than most Vitamin C products available on the market. These activate when combined with the separate sachet of serum.
This is an interesting mask as the ingredients are activated upon use making them super fresh and more potent. A fun and interesting way to spice up your mask ritual on the weekend! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant ingredient in skincare that really works on combating the signs of aging. The mask also contains a concentrated shot of superfood extracts which help give the skin a much-needed boost.
02. La Roche Posay Unclogging and Purifying Sebo-Controlling Mask
And when your skin has had a little too much and also reacts in the form of excess sebum and spots well then you know you need to invest in a good mask and go back to basics.
I love a clay mask for absorbing extra oil and for drying out and calming down spots so was thrilled when I found out that La Roche-Posay has a NEW clay mask that unclogs pores and cleanses deeply – it even gets rid of pollution particles. It does this via Cellubeads (these products are so darn SMART) which have a magnet-like ability to remove even the smallest and most invisible impurities on the skin like pollution particles. This product is a no-brainer if you live in a city or suffer from oily, acne prone skin!
03. Elemental Herbology Radiance + Vitality Facial Glow + Nutrition Infusion Sheet Mask
Elemental Herbology is a brand that I’m really starting to love. Their products are really very good and I’ve been impressed by the things I’ve tried so far, including this Nutrition Infusion Sheet Mask. Before you use this mask and to get an even better result, it’s best to use in combination with the Radiance + Vitality Facial Glow which is a radiance peel and exfoliation treatment.
Once you have used that and gotten rid of all those dead skin cells and unclogged the pores then slap on this Nutrition Infusion Mask which is super-hydrating – it’s like a long, cool drink for the skin. It plumps, brightens and nourishes so it’s perfect before a big event or if you need a bit of a boost.
