Weekend Vibes: My Favourites

I love dressing for the weekend because I can wear what I want. I’m restricted by office wear 5 days a week so the weekend vibes lookbook reflects my true style. I like style that’s on trend but comfortable. Gone are my days of body-con dresses and although I can still rock one they aren’t really my cup of tea. I’ve put together a post of my favourite weekend look which ticks all the boxes: comfortable, on trend, classy and most importantly, fun!

Rae Feather Bag with Bardot Top and Public Desire Heels

First up is this Rae Feather Pom Pom Basket. I am OBSESSED. I first discovered this brand through Glossybox (read my post here) and when I realised that they did personalised bags with pom poms I was hooked. I’ve seen these bags popping up occasionally on Instagram and I just love them. They are so cute and so unique – I have not yet seen anything like them. I love that you can personalise these bags with your initials and the brand sells a wide variety of accessories that can all be personalised. The bag is cute and perfect for the weekend because I can throw in a scarf, a book to read at a cafe, my wallet and my phone. It fits pretty much everything. When I wear the bag I get so many complements and people always ask me where it’s from –  it’s a definite conversation piece!

Next up is jewellery and when it comes to jewellery no one does stacking rings quite like Pandora. I’ve got my hands on the latest range – the Pandora Rose Collection. This range is absolutely gorgeous and trust me, it’s worth it to spend a little bit of extra money on some nice rings that you can stack because that trend is here to stay! I wash my hands a lot and am constantly using my hands so put my rings through a lot so it’s important to me to have good quality jewellery that will last (and of course not turn my fingers green!). So Pandora it is and I’ve got the Timeless Elegance Ring, Hearts of Pandora Ring, Alluring Brilliant Princess Ring and Droplets Ring.

Pandora Stacking Rings

I absolutely love these rings – I wear them every single day – not just for the weekend but all the time! And I’ve been through a lot of rings and these Pandora ones are great quality and look amazing. They will also stand the test of time which is important when it comes to rings!

Another piece of jewellery I love from Pandora is my Radiant Elegance Drop Earrings. It’s so lovely to have a nice pair of earrings. I don’t often invest in earrings but these are really classic and again if you are wearing an off-the-shoulder top, it’s great to wear earrings. Earrings really draw attention to the neck which is what you are showing off in these kinds of tops!

And my favourite weekend piece is my Hearts of Pandora necklace. This is a stunning rose gold necklace and goes with pretty much any outfit. It’s classy, elegant and again if you are showing off your jewellery it’s great to wear an off-the-shoulder Bardot top.

And speaking of off-the-shoulder – the top is from Set Trendz and I love it. Bardot tops are so elegant and really on-trend right now. I love to wear these kinds of tops on the weekend – they look great with jewellery and if you have a long, swan-like neck than these tops are meant for you! I was once told that I would look best if I chopped off all my hair into a pixie cut because I had such an elegant neck so I’m going with it and showing it off with my off-the-shoulder top (but not going to chop off my hair, SOZ).

And last but not least you need a great pair of shoes to tie the entire look together. I love these Daisy Clear Strap Stiletto Heels in Mermaid by Public Desire. Seriously who wouldn’t want a pair of mermaid heels? Surprisingly these are actually more comfortable than they look. And although people may think that you would need to wear this with a body con dress you really don’t have to. I love them paired with my Pull & Bear ripped jeans and the off-the-shoulder top from Set Trendz. I think as long as you have the right accessories, you can pull anything off!
