The Back to Basics Box

Glossybox is at it again this month and this month it’s all about getting back to basics. But actually I think this box is anything but basic because of a star product…let’s see what it is shall we?

So let’s start with the best and not save it for last okay? I am IN LOVE with the Scrub Love Active Charcoal Body Scrub in this month’s Glossybox beauty box – it’s so good! I first fell in love with Frank Body Scrubs (read about my obsession HERE) but I had yet to try a charcoal-based product for the body. We all know how good charcoal is at detoxing so it was only so long before someone put it in a body scrub. And yes, this scrub detoxes, brightens and combats puffiness (puffy thighs anyone?). And it’s quite fun (and messy) to use in the shower. STAR product for sure and anything but basic.

Now the next product is a basic necessity that’s for sure. It’s blush – who doesn’t love it? This one is from RUBY and it’s a lovely silky texture with a coral colour to add that bit of pop to the cheeks for a healthy and rosy glow.

I’m a skincare addict and nerd so always happy to see skincare in a beauty box. Caudalie has included their Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet in the box which is this beautiful gel-like texture that is perfect for the summer because it’s not too heavy. It’s chock full of antioxidants and is also super hydrating. I did a full review on it previously HERE

Eek! I love the next product as well which I already use religiously. This is the Dr. PawPaw original balm. This is a brilliant balm made of fermented paw paws that you can put on any rough skin, use as a lip balm – basically anything! And the taste is strangely addictive – go ahead, call me weird.
